Summit won 34-19.Summit Adisyn Westendorf said Tallulah played a good game and Summit had to step it up.“I think we did very well,” said Westendorf. “We started off slow and then gained momentum. But I think our offense should have picked up quicker.”Summit Ezra Branham said taking the championship for a third year is a great accomplishment but said they had too many fouls, needed to move their feet more, and run the press better.“It feels really good,” said Branham.

“We didn’t do the best in the first half, but in the second we settled down and ran our plays right. Then it started getting good.”Highlands School hosted the tournament because Summit’s new gym is still undergoing construction and is expected to open within a couple of weeks.“We thank Highlands for hosting this because of our construction on the new gym,” said Robinson. “We were looking for a place to host it and Highlands was nice enough to let us play here.”.
